Do we have any fans out there? I am a huge fan! Ever since I seen the movie. I hope the series on Sci-Fi Channel never ends. Yeah I know... it will someday... until then I shall dream of being adventurous (in the bedroom) with Jack O'neil and Daniel Jackson.

What are your thoughts on the new season changes? Jack may not be around at all and Carter will be absent for the first 5 episodes due to having had a baby.
Our consolation prize for Jacks departure however is a nice one.... Ben Browder!!!

I love Stargate SG-1. I hated to see it end, but they did wrap things up nicely. My fantasy was to build a "stargate" and run and jump through it into a pile of soft pinestraw! Well, I work backstage at the theater, and one of the props was a circular doorway. They were going to tear it down at the end of the show, so yes, they gave it to me. It is downstairs and I just need to paint chevrons on it. A friend actually wanted to borrow it for a party with a stargate theme! Sci-Fi Friday was fun while it lasted, but since SG-1 is over, I do not watch tv any more. <img src="/images/graemlins/beamedup.gif" alt="" /> I have several friends going through the stargate with me.

It's not over. Season 9 included Ben Brower from Farscape, as well as Claudia Black. Also coming online is Louis Gossett Jr. and Beau Bridges... and a few other new faces. So it's not dead, just in repeats until mid July.

Well, this thread hasn't gotten much traffic in forever, but with a new season starting up I figured I'd toss in a I'm A HUGE fan of stargate.

I was a little worried the show would start to fade for me as they shifted away from the alien culture of the week as I loved that aspect... but the show keeps my interest and is just as wonderful to watch now as it was in the beginning. at least for me. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I watched the movie years ago when it came out, but I never really paid much attention to Stargate SG-1 until last year when Ben Browder came on board...then I wanted to see it, since I loved Farscape. Of course it didn't take long to realize that I needed to watch all 8 seasons as well (Thank you internet) and I really like the show.

Jack O'neil (Richard Dean Anderson) is a great character although I do like the new Cam Mitchel (Browder).
A week ago they played a hilarious episode where they took shots at all sci-fi (Including themselves), showing a fabulous tounge and cheek sense of humor that is why I like this show.

The 200th episode was hiLARious. I like when they did the mock Farscape and when Carter said "are you kidding? it will be in the promos" talking about using the surprise of Jack coming back.
