Oh, I didn't even see you posted this thread here, and I posted one in the Catholic forum! Too funny OK, I'll delete the other one

I think my favorite story is Noah and the Ark, that he did what he felt was right even with people laughing at him and even though it was a lot of work. He was working to save all the animals, where other stories have them being mistreated or sacrificed or so on. And I love the real life research that has gone into the story, and how they've found that a flood like this really did happen in the Black Sea!

Great minds think alike! I like Noah too, although I personally suspect his wife got the worst of it! Housekeeping on an ark full of animals can't have been fun! And my teens-I just read your answer to them-said don't forget all the mosquitos they must have had to deal with and who had to eat too!

They only had to save 2 mosquitoes so maybe they saved them in larvae form Or heck, maybe they saved an early form of the mosquito that at the time lived on bread and water After all, they probably saved a "dog" since half the dogs we have nowadays are all new mutations of very old breeds It wasn't that long ago in history (I think 2000 bc or so) that there was only one type of "dog" that the Greeks and Romans and such then interbred to create the breeds we have now!
