Hi Ann,
I'm brand new to scrapbooking and here are the things I'd like to know about.

1. How to start! I mean I literally have boxes and drawers of photos all scrambled up. Today I sat down and tried to just sort them by years. So far so good. I figure once I get them in some sort of order, no matter how loosly, I can start deciding what sort of theme to have.

Hey, glad you stopped by. Thanks so much for your response. I am working on a series of articles for how to start. The layout idea is giving my trouble since I have no place to store photos on the web. I find it difficult to have a scrapbooking site without photos. However, there are thousands of websites with layout designs. I will be doing an article listing some of the best by category.

Sounds like you have a good handle on your organization. I to start by organizing by year. You can then separate into events. What I did is start with my most current and then worked backwards and forwards at the same time. That way you get some immediate gratification from your recent photos.
