Hi Chris--
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your articles. Your advice is worded simply enough that even someone like me (who knows practically nothing about PCs) can understand what you're talking about. Have you ever thought about doing a series, like a primer, on PC terminology? I still don't know what all the buttons on my tower are for. Funny how when you buy a PC they give you a diagram showing how to plug everything in but they just assume you know what every little knob, wheel, hole, and button is for! Yes I have thought about that and I have several basic topics on my "idea" list ... just need to get to them ... I try to keep at least 4 or 5 articles ahead ... guess I don't want to have the pressure of knowing I just have to write that article.

Is there a particular topic you'd like to see?

Perhaps something on the components inside the PC and their purpose? Basic Computer Literacy?

I'll take special requests <G>. Some of what I do is write an article after I've done some research to answer a question for a reader or one of my students. I am of the belief that if one person has the question then others do as well.
