Security advisors are recommending users of IE, Outlook and OUtlook Express disable Active X controls until Microsoft releases a patch. The flaw enables active scripting to run on a users computer leaving it vulnerable to hackers.

The problems with this is that so many web sites won't work correctly without the Active X enabled including this forum. My advice, keep your virus protection very up to date, take care when downloading from the net, and be careful when surfing the net.
