A lot of people have trouble losing weight, and there are all sorts of reasons they do. Your doctor would be the best person to determine what the situation is in your case and what the best way to address it is. Sometimes it's allergies, sometimes it's thyroids, sometimes it's other things.
The key in all cases is to eat healthy food, drink lots of water to keep your system flushed, and to exercise moderately. So while you make the appointment with your doctor I would get started on that.
Clear your house out of all junk food so it's not a temptation. Fill it with healthy snacks and meals. Get yourself large glasses or water pitchers or whatever it takes to start drinking more water.
