BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Knitting Mittens in heavier yarn?

I'm looking for a mitten pattern for heavier yarns. I've knit my mother a scarf and earband for Christmas, and there's enough left to do mittens, but I can't find a pattern appropriate for my yarn weight. It's a chunky weight, and I'm doing 16 stitches=4 inches on size 10s. I'm planning on doing stripes (to use up my three colors of yarns), but I can alter any pattern to make that work.
