Hi all,

I'm looking for advice again. I saw a beautiful knit wrap on a woman the other day - it was a standard rectangle (basically a very wide scarf) - but all around the edge was this beautiful ruffle (about 1.5 - 2 inches wide) that was just lovely. I was going to try to re-create it. So how do I knit a ruffle? Any thoughts? Thanks.

You will need to make increases into each and every stitch. This makes the ruffle. Start by having the "normal" number of stitches, next row make increases in each stitch, knit or purl next row, next row increase in each stitch, knit or purl next row, until you have your desired ruffliness, then just work even.
