Eva, I tried your suggestion to slip the last stitch on each row. I already had 50 rows completed, so I did it on rows 51 thru 75 and it seems to work! :music:

The end stitches stay together in a loop when I remove the needle. The edges look like the thread is wrapped around the edge horizontally rather than at a slant. Is that the correct appearance?

I'll be doing purl stitches soon. For purl stitches, do I slip the last stitch and bring the yarn around to the front?
