I have light brown hair that is very ashy in color that pulls red very easily (which I advised the colorist) and am greying at the top and at the temples. I asked for Jenifer Aniston light rich warm browns and took a picture showing her multi colored hair. I asked not to have any more red as each time I have gotten a permanent color in the past they advised me that I pull red unusually. She used a redken brandy perm on the roots in between the foils (bleach) which she left on for over 45 minutes. I advised her I lift very easily and did not want stringy or bright highlights. Now I have have stringy light highlights with an orangy/red crown and the middle of my hair to the ends look hay like and a little green? What can I do to get the color I want. I took a picture told her "i don't want reds, not blonde highlights, but caramel/light brown in color, rich and warm, natural looking". I hadn't used a permanent color in over two years because of mistakes. She advised she couldn't do three colors like I wanted, said it didn't exist and that Jenifer only had two? Should I have ran? Anyways what can I do to fix this without damaging my dry hair more? How soon afterwards can a shades be put on? Or is there anything else I can use to make the light less light and the base more rich. Everything seems flat in color! Should I just ask for a refund and find someone else

Hello Reneea,
I'm sorry you've had those problems. I suggest that you ask for a refund and find a new hairstylist. - one very experienced in hair color.

Shades EQ can be put on your hair anytime and will help the color. The problem will be that you need warmth added to the highlights to make them less like green hay and of course you don't want any warmth added to the orange/red crown.

Your new hairstylist will have to do corrective color or possibly cover it all up with brown.
