Be very careful before taking the leap to a trendy black hair color!
One of the more common problems I hear of is:
"I colored my hair black and now I'm tired of it. But when I tried to get rid of it:(Take your pick)
It turned orange.
It turned out all spotty. Orange at the roots. red-brown in the middle, still black on the ends.
I put a brown color over it and nothing happened (or it got darker)
etc.

The darker the hair color, the more color pigment that is in the bottle. - So.. the more difficult it will be to change.
Often, more porous areas of your hair will soak up more pigment and be harder to remove. -- OR that color will slide right out because it is over porous and will leave brittle odd gray or green colored hair.
It almost always will take a hairdresser to bring it back to a natural or believable color.-- and back to good condition.
