I have long hair and I can never get it to stay up. I have some hair sticks but they always fall out!

Thanks for the links, and I definitely got some great inspiration about styles to try. I still seem to have some trouble with casual styles though. Some friends of mine can just put their hair into a ponytail, swirl the ponytail into a bun and stick a pencil or two into it. It stays up. But when I try that, the hair always falls down in short order. Any tips?

The trick to making hair stay up is first taking out the slippery quality out by spraying your hair with hairspray before you put it up into the ponytail and then using enough bobby pins to hold the ends in. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
