I am always in a hurry, therefore this site helps me a lot:

www.search-for-quick-recipes.com

I thought it may be useful to post it here.
It has very quick dessert and cake recipes that take only 15 minutes or less to prepare. It is very handy indeed

Here's a fantastic recipe for Family Coconut Puffs

These pooffs can be dipped in honey or maple syrup if you like them sweeter (like me), or add a bit of mustard if you like them hot and spicy (oo-er).

4 servings.
Prep Time:5 Minutes
Cook Time:15 Minutes
Ready In:15 Minutes or something like that...look, just go on to the next parageaph. Go on.

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup self-rising flour (is that too much flour?)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground curry powder, or cinammon, or chilly
1/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups goats milk
1 quart oil or lard (fat) for frying

DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl, right, mix the all-purpose flour, self-rising flour, chilli powder (or cinnamon if you really want it sweeter), cardamom and sugar. Stir in goats milk until lumps disappear (oo-er again). Don't get it all over the table.

Heat oil in deep-fryer or wok to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Drop gloopy batter by tablespoons into hot oil avoiding hot oil splashing face. Fry until golden brown*. Remove with a slotted spoon** and drain on paper towels***. They're delicious with a pint of bitter, and I'm not lying.

* not burnt
** this is a spoon with a slot in it
*** not bathroom (loo roll) as that's unhygenic.

One of my favorite quick desserts:

Take mini phyllo cups (in the frozen desserts section) and fill with pie filling, fresh fruit or pudding. Add a topping such as whipped cream, mini chocolate chips or crushed graham crackers.

[color:"purple"] Hey, I have a new blog where I have posted most of my easy to make dessert recipes, I have to keep time in mind always since I cook for a lot of people, so spending a lot of time in the kitchen whipping up a dessert is not an option.
Anyways, I hope you find it useful and that you like it [/color]

Sweet things and more...

Comments and posts are highly appreciated
