Okay, so I am massively pregnant, and last night I just HAD to have cupcakes! But, we didn't have any of those little paper cupcake wrapper thingies... so, when you're out of those, what's the best way to make cupcakes that don't stick to the bottom of the tin?????

I don't know what they're called - I'm no cook - but what about one of those tins with the hollowed out circles for making Yorkshire Puddings and the like? If they were well buttered you'd have no problem getting the cakes out once cool. They'd be a little bigger than normal cupcakes that's all.

I just joined this site today and your post was awhile ago but if you run out of cupcake liners just spray the muffin tins with non-stick spray,or if you don't have that just butter then and the cupcakes or muffins will come out.

When I'm out of paper liners I spray the pan. When it cools a bit, I scrape and eat all the sticky bits. It's childish I know, but great!

I recently saw a blog post (can't recall where now ... sorry) about using cooking parchment paper tucked into the cupcake pan cups. You cut the paper in a square so that it sticks up above the rim, then fill and bake as usual.

Yum, cupcakes.... You should try this cupcake recipe I found on a website called Mom Life. It's so good, cream cheese, fruit, it's not your average cupcake! Plus, it's a Paula Dean recipe so you know it's a guilty pleasure! Go to their website and check it out, there are some very useful information there!
