Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Still packing like mad. My sewing room is beginning to feel like Custer's last stand. It is getting better now that I have given up on organizing and am just boxing stuff up to deal with later. I keep finding things and saying "oh, I forgot I had that" or "I will have to make ?? out of this". Nothing like staying focussed on a task, right? Riiight.

I have one last sewing project to complete before the move - making dresses out of hawaiian fabric for my bil's daughter, his girlfriend and her two daughters. Yes, I'm crazy, but I committed to this back in April and waited too long (as usual). The patterns are fairly simple and shouldn't take too long. Wish me luck!

Hi! We miss you! I don't envy you the process you're going through, but I know at the end of it you'll be happy. I'm finally starting to get my sewing stuff back in order, kind of. There's no real sewing room in the house, so I'm making one up in the basement. Oh, and in the living room. I'm trying to make it so I can sew anywhere in the house and still be with the family. I found that I really hated sewing in my little room all by myself back in Rockford, and when the kids joined me it was mayhem to have all of us in that little room. Anyway, safe trip and all. Oh wow, well I guess you are like the rest of us. Always working better under pressure. Hope things are going well. GOod luck and don't forget to take a deep breath once in a while.
