I am taking the boys to Disneyland at the end of this month. DH can't go with us, but my parents are. I would like to find a package deal. Does anyone have any ideas where I should look online? Also, has anyone been out there recently and can you suggest a motel? The only travel site I have looked at lists a ton of hotels, but I am nervous about randomly picking one. Price is of course a consideration. Other equilly important things are pool, clean, location (although not a big issue since I will have my van), and it must have smokefree rooms. Free breakfast would be a nice bonus.

Michelle, when are you planning this trip? A friend of mine just got back a few weeks ago, I'll ask her what hotel they stayed at (they drove down).

Another friend of mine, about two years ago flew down on a package deal. For four people (2 kids, 2 adults) they flew down, stayed at a Disneyland hotel, had their admission tickets paid for (got to go into the park when it was officially closed to the public), free breakfasts and some other freebies...all for $2000.00 - 2500.00. They didn't need a car since a train/tram went from their hotel to Disneyland. And they had unlimited admission to the parks, so they could go in the morning, come back and rest, then head out again in the evening.

If you are ever interested in DisneyWorld, they have some wonderful deals too that include the airfare and hotel, etc. for either DL or DW, look on the Internet (through Expedia.com or some other travel business) or go to travel agency directly. Try Travelocity.com too. Have you tried just typing in Disneyland and seeing what pops up?
