BellaOnline Forums Computers Shareware Great Freeware and Great Browser

Hi all,

Just want to add two super sites I have found.
The first is http://www.freewarearena.org.
It is a fabulous listing of total freeware and most worth having, I might add. You are advised about ads, spyware, etc before you even go to the site.
What it so neat is that it is so large you download the freeware book to peruse at your leisure.
I had been going crazy trying to find what mysterious search engine had taken over my puter and got the answer there with a free program.

In addition, I have found a new love to replace my stale old IE,-- Avant Browser. http://www.avantbrowser.com It is an IE take off, but, boy does it take off for slow dial-ups like myself. It has really nice features, is less likely to get taken over by spyware and highjackers.
Downloads in a few minutes and is "clean". More and more I am finding nasty little annoyances taking over my computer.

If you decide to try please post here and let me know what you think.

AvantBrowser looks like it it is definately worth a try. If it works well I think I may do a review for my site.

Thankyou , Pam , for the information about the free downloaad of the AvantBrowser...it IS really great and the colours seem so much brighter on Web pages etc. than in I.E. Very easy to use for multiple resources. I am going to be using it a lot and again many thanks. Will be checking here again for more "tips" from you !
