A trip to The Container Store this afternoon got me thinking about organizing products. I know which ones have a permanent spot in my home (accordion files and shelf expanders, for starters!), and I'd love to know which ones you're fond of.

I like our custom-made book shelves that accomodate big books. we have a ton of books for the kids that are too tall for a normal bookshelf, but if they can't see the binding they won't know what the book is and won't take it off the shelf.

We have a lot of custom-made shelves and stuff that my husband's grandfather makes for us for gifts <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I enjoy browsing through Target and K-Mart in the organizing section - I've picked up shelf and cabinet units and I'm toying with the idea that some kitchen gadgets might be helpful.
