Hi everyone,

Here's our first Topic of the Week: What is your biggest organizing challenge?

This might be anything from the pile of mail that always seems to take root near your front door, to the pots and pans that never seem to fit in the kitchen cabinets, to the zoo of toys occupying your kids' bedroom floors.

Let us know what bugs you, what you can't find a solution for, or what you'd most like to tackle. Your challenges will be inspiration for upcoming articles on the Organization site.

Thanks!

Sifting through paper to read. I'm a genealogist and have lots of paper - documents and articles to read. And then there are catalogs.

My husband just transfered jobs and we are trying to sell our house. So we are staying with family. We live in a big house with lots of room for all of us. My house is very organized, but things tend to get out of hand where we are now. My biggest problem with staying here is that things are not thrown away. It is old mail, empty Coke cans, even tooth picks. It drives me crazy.

At home Im not so fanatical, but when Im at work Im all for clean and clear counters. Sort of along the lines of if the customer can see it it must be cleared away asap. But also thats just my little OCD rearing its manical head.
When I cook, especially for big dinners or I go on a baking spree for holidays and such I MUST clean the kitchen counters completely clear just so that I can spread out my mess as far as possible.
Crazy I know.
