I'm a big fan of Citrasolv and Ecover. great all natural products with awesome scents. But then there's vinegar, baking soda, bleach and ammonia, the four big natural cleansers.

What do you like to use?

I like vinegar and baking soda. I use bleach sparingly as a deep cleaner and rarely use ammonia.

yeah, it's so true - you can do almost anything between vinegar and baking soda!

Hydrogen pyroxide is another gentle cleanser I like.

Hi Guys:
I use orange essential oil. I found this link that has different formulations for orange and lime essential oil cleaning products.

I use vinegar and baking soda mostly too. The one unnatural cleaning product I still use and love is the purple 409. But I am trying to stop myself from using that one too.

I only use white vinegar and water to clean everything, except the dishes. I love how inexpensive it is and how well it gets up sticky stuff. I have large parrots and I use it to clean their cages and the floor in the bird room.

Amonia is too strong of a smell, and I have ruined to many clothes with bleach.

I even use vinegar in my powerwasher and floor cleaner mixed with a dash of dish soap. <img src="/images/graemlins/fish.gif" alt="" />

I just used baking soda and white vinegar to unclog a drain and it worked so good! 1 cup baking soda (the stuff from the fridge, recycling). The poured 1 cup warm white vinegar over it. After 5 minutes flushed it with a couple quarts of hot water. It was pretty clogged so it will probably take a couple more tries, but it is already draining faster. It is the bathroom sink and we all know how bad they get!

I have done the same thing in my bathroom sink. If you use boiling water to flush after 5-10 minutes it seems to cut through more of the crud faster.

I use baking soda and some sort of vinegar for pretty much everything. If appropriate I may add a tad of tea tree oil or orange oil, especially on something that needs disinfected, like the toilet or kitchen counters.

I will add a touch of soap to something with grease.

Generally, however, I find that good old fashioned water works the best on almost everything.
