Thanks Connie and Debbie. Let's make it a trilogy of agreement about "to be is to do" as it also floats my boat or as I am wont to say, The Good Ship Integrity. From my perspective, it epitomizes the actualization of integrity as it implies that who you are is dependent upon the consistency of your behavior/action.
Connie is right on as saying the hoi polloi/the the masses is redundant as it is believed that in ancient Greece hoi was used as a definite article.
To confirm this, one needs to look no further than the 1935 movie starring the Three Philosophers, er, I mean the Three Stooges which was titled "Hoi Polloi." Who knew that Moe, Larry and Curly were ancient Greek scholars? Which leads me to believe that Curley's utterances of "woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!!!" were much more universally profound than originally believed.
