There seems to be a very "anti-Jewish" feeling this year... lots of snitty articles about people being bitter about being asked to say "happy holidays" when working at retail stores rather than "merry Christmas." Not sure what is bringing this on this year. I personally don't mind the lack of "blue." As I mentioned, there is no need to make Hanukkah into the "Jewish Christmas." It's better for the holiday to find it's own identity.
