I cannot image how people advertise themselves for jobs by using banner stands on the street. Today, I went to Download L.A to visit my friend. On the way back to the parking log, I randomly saw there was a person standing on the street and had his resume on the banner stand. For these banner stands, I usually see people use them in a show or on the sidewalk for advertisement. But, it was really weird for people use it to show their resumes.
I just heard the unemployment rate in California is near 8 %; it is going to get worse next year. I really hope banner stand can bring this person at least a job. Not just for an advertisement, but more, from a deep meaning, careers which people have faith with them.
