Sorry guys, i have been terribly lazy about getting a song put up here. I was actually galvanized by an article written by Bella Online's own Christianity Editor, Jenna. See this link to her article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art8050.asp

The line that really got me was this:
Quote:
Prayer is the one place that we are equal. We can pray together and be completely in tune with each other. All our disagreements can be put aside at the foot of the cross.

I think Greg Ferguson's song "At the Foot of the Cross" backs Jenna up so well. When it comes to prayer and forgiveness, and even sin - we all are equal in God's eyes. And when we humble ourselves to Him at the foot of the cross, His grace flows equally as well.

[color:"red"] The ground is level at the foot of the cross
We all are equal in the light of the cross
For the love of God is given freely to all
The ground is level, at the foot of the cross

Men and women, younger and older
Every culture, every color, every tongue
No more labels, no separation
As we stand forgiven at the cross
We all are one

The ground is level at the foot of the cross
We all are equal in the light of the cross
For the love of God is given freely to all
The ground is level, at the foot of the cross

Doesnt matter your social position
Doesnt matter if youre rich or if youre poor
Race or privilege, tribe or tradition
At the cross of Christ it cant divide us anymore

The ground is level we all are equal,
all together at the foot of the cross
The ground is level we all are equal,
all together at the foot of the cross

The ground is level at the foot of the cross
We all are equal in the light of the cross
For the love of God is given freely to all
The ground is level, at the foot of the cross [/color]
