I've not read Mitch's book, but have seen the title. It sounds right up my alley! Wow, I can't wait to read it. I'm glad you shared your experience with it.
I finished Alice Sebold's
Lovely Bones not too long ago, and that book also flipped between past and present, heaven and Earth. A really, really good book. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
And now, I have another similar book to look forward to thanks to your recommendation!
